Summer Activities

Rafting

Whether we are talking a fun tour for the whole family, punctuated by fascinating landscapes, delicious treats and fun on the water, or a more challenging, sportier expedition, one thing is common to both: the indescribable experience of a great rafting tour. Further details are available from the tourist office or direct from www.team-spirit.at

"Flying Fox" – the Kesselfall Tour

A breathtaking adventure experience for everyone. High above the ground (10 – 25 m), you will conquer a total of 4 different waterfalls accompanied, of course, by  Harald Berger.  Over the length of this tour, you and your small group will clip on to 5 different cables, as you make your way safely back to the valley below - and you'll never even get wet.

"Wasserwelt Amadé" - Wagrain

You will discover a very special swimming and sauna experience at the "Wasserwelt Amadé" all-weather facility here in Wagrain. Uninterrupted fun in and around the water is guaranteed, no matter what the weather, by an indoor pool with counter current, along with a whirlpool, kiddy pool, wildwater canal, and a sensational giant water slide with light, sound and video effects.

Awaiting all of our water-lovers and sun-worshippers is also an outdoor pool with 2 additional water slides, a climbing net, play stream for the youngsters, and a large sunbathing area. Total water area: 900 m². A spaciously designed sauna facility, built in an oriental style, and a restaurant add the final finishing touches to this year-round attraction.

Summer holidays with fishing in the SalzburgerLand
Fishing is an outstanding way to spend quality time with friends or family, or to sometimes find that necessary peace and quiet just for yourself. Good conversations seem to flow quite naturally next to an untamed alpine stream. And during an outing all on your own, the alpine countryside will transport you to a realm of brand-new thoughts as you discover the comforting rhythm of casting and reeling.

• Radstadt • Urslautal
• Goldegg • Gut Brandlhof
• Gastein • Wagrain (mini-golf course)
• Zell am See / Kaprun / Saalbach Hinterglemm

The two sports have a number of things in common, especially the joy of an activity that isn't all about winning and losing. Of course, there are golf tournaments and angling competitions. But isn't it the intrinsic nature of the sports themselves that makes them so appealing? You can certainly shoot a low score for the round or haul countless brook trout onto shore, but the true satisfaction comes from knowing that you gave it your best and enjoyed this small part of your vacation to the full.
