Hiking Tour: Nazbauer - Edelweissalm 1252 m ( easy ) - hiking & culture

From the hotel along AV Trail No. 714 to the Nazbauer, continue on trail No. 62 along the forestry road to the Edelweissalm ( refreshments), where you also have the opportunity to visit a farming museum (ca. 3 hours - excluding gondola ride).

 

Mountain Hike to St. Johann i. Pg. via Gern to St. Johann i. Pg.

Ride up on the "Grafenberg" cabin lift to the mountain terminal, continuing from here up to the Sonntagskogel, crossing over to the Gern (1,787 m) and descending to St. Johann i. Pg. Ride the post bus back to Wagrain

 

WAGRAINI`s GRAFENBERG - pram-accessible footpath on the GRAFENBERG

Ride up on the "Grafenberg" cabin lift. The second you get off at the mountain terminal, the fun and adventure begin!  For example, on a theme trail to visit the "Busy Bees" - so much for the kids, big and small, to see and do and try for themselves: slides, ropes course, marmot-watching station, barefoot path ... all of this and more just waiting for you to discover on your own. So, COME join us on WAGRAINi`s Grafenberg, a world of mountains and nature adventures.

 

Hike: SONNTAGSKOGEL 1,849 m ( intermediate ) - hike up one of our most SCENIC MOUNTAINS

From Wagrain along AV Trail No. 713 via Berggasthof Höllenstein (also possible to take the gondola lift in summer), and the Hachaualm (refreshments) to the summit of the Sonntagkogel (ca. 4 hours - excluding gondola ride). After descending from the summit, another hike to the Auhofalm (not staffed) or the Marbachalm (refreshments) is possible.

 

Hike: Griessenkareck 1,991 m ( intermediate ) - hike to our most famous local peak

Hike from Wagrain along AV Trail No. 714 to the Nazbauer - also possible by car - then through a beautiful forest to the shores of the Rupertisee, Hike up to the Wagrainerhaus and on to the summit (ca. 4.5 hours - excluding the lift ride).

 

Hike: Hochgründeck 1,827 m ( intermediate ) - hike to one of the most scenic mountains in Sportwelt-Amadé

From Wagrain along AV Trail No.51,52,451 - by car, past the Grub inn to the Ginau area, after Fellehenbauer Farm (parking available ) along a new forestry road and trail to the mountain church, then on to the "Schälplatz". From there along a forestry road and the St. Johanner-Weg ( No. 451 ) to the Heinrich Kiener-Haus ( refreshments ) and summit. ( 3.5 hours).

 

Alpine Hike from Wagrain to KLEINARL (intermediate) - beautiful high-mountain hike to our neighboring town

Ride up on the "Flying Mozart" lift to the mountain terminal. Hike up the Griesskareck (1,991 m), and along the ridgeline (No. 714) or Bettlersteig trail (No. 714 a) to the Ahornkarkopf, and via Wildbühel and Weissenhofalm (refreshments) to the Steinkaralm (refreshments), then hike back down to Kleinarl.
