Location of Hiking Hotel Erika in Wagrain

Location of Our Hotel:
We are centrally situated in the Kirchboden section of Wagrain. The town center is just 300 meters from here, while Wasserwelt Amadé is only about 200 m away. Hiking paths - such as to our most famous local peak, the Griessenkareck (elev. 1991 m), and the Sontagskogel (elev. 1849 m) - begin right outside the hotel, as do the Nordic Walking trails.
We are about 400 m from the mountain bike park. The nearest lifts and cross-country ski trails are also within walking distance, about 400 meters. The ski shuttle stops 50 meters away, taking you on a 5- to 8-minute drive to the terminals of the "Flying Mozart" and Grafenberg gondola lifts.
We are about 18 km from the nearest golf course, The tennis courts are 200 m from us, while it is 12 km to the closest swimming lake.

Family History:
Hotel Erika was constructed in 1969 by Erika and Sepp Tiefenbacher. In 2003, Erika Tiefenbacher (the younger) and Gerald Schützenhofer took over the hotel, expanding and renovating it.  Erika and Gerald have had 2 children together, Manuela (20) and Carina (13). Since 2005, we have been members of European Hiking Hotels, constantly striving to improve quality for our hiking guests. We conduct 5 guided hikes per week (Mon-Fri) and Nordic Walking courses.
